High Performing:
This student goes above and beyond the "call of duty" for this informal assessment. Her presentation was excellent, not only making eye contact and speaking fluently but making CLEAR CONNECTIONS between the chemical/physical properties of the element Nickel and how it is used in the body. Her "drawing" was extremely original (using paper cut outs for electrons, protons, and neutrons) and everything was clearly labeled. You can tell that she did much research from her "works cited" on the back of her assessment and it shows in the information presented on the front. She also found a very fun and interesting fact about Nickel giving her an extra credit point (making her work an 11/10).
